Will Routh

Will is a Sustainability Officer at Camden Council and Delivery Manager for the Camden Climate Change Alliance. Since completing a degree in environmental science, Will has gained 4 years experience in environmental sustainability, concentrating for the last 3 years on assisting local businesses to reduce their impact on the environment.

Personally, Will cuts his carbon footprint by commuting by bike, purchasing local food and ensuring that all appliances are switched off when not in use.

Katie Watson

Katie is a Sustainability Officer at Camden Council. Before joining Camden Katie was a project consultant at the Energy Centre for Sustainable Communities (ecsc) where she worked on energy and carbon saving programmes for Local Authorities, schools and businesses. Katie is currently working towards an MA in Environment, Society and Policy with the Open University.

Katie tries to live sustainably and regularly volunteers for Friends of the Earth as a schools educator who does climate change activities with local schools.

Dave Wilson

Dave works for Camden Council and is the Better Climate for Camden Team's business development manager with a focus on providing the best service possible for Alliance members and has a particular focus on waste management.

Dave has 4 years of experience working on waste reduction projects, with a particular focus on organic waste. A graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Waste management, Dave practices what he preaches through being a dedicated recycler and composter. Dave is also a keen cyclist – a great way to get fit and do your bit for the environment.

Poppy Lyle

Poppy works for Camden Council and is the Better Climate for Camden Team's climate change adaptation specialist, responsible for the provision of resources and advice on how Camden businesses can minimise risk and maximise opportunities from our already changing climate.

Poppy has worked as a Sustainability officer at Camden since September 2008, previously working as a corporate relations manager at an electronics recycling organisation.

Poppy practices what she preaches by cycling to work, abstains from flying for the last 5 years, and makes the most of leftovers to avoid creating food waste.

Katy Mann

Katy joined Camden Council in 2010, having previously worked on a pan-London home energy efficiency programme.

"More and more often an environmental policy is not enough to win business. Organisations need to be able to provide evidence that real action is being taken."
