Getting more involved

There are many opportunities for you and your organisation to get more involved in the Alliance, in fact, the very success of the Alliance depends upon the enthusiasm of its members and their willingness to share their knowledge and real experiences of carbon reduction. This helps the Better Climate for Camden Team provide excellent, relevant, and practical services free of charge.

Here's some ideas of how to get more involved in the Alliance, but if you have any ideas of your own, please contact us. 

Become a written case study

Tell everyone about the environmental successes of your organisation. What did you do? How did you do it? What difference has it made? What would you do better next time? 

Take part in workshops

Your organisation can help the Better Climate for Camden team make workshops real for those participating by sharing your tips and tricks for practical environmental improvement. Alliance members want to hear from those who have experimented, succeeded, and failed. 

Speak at events

Have you got particular expertise in your organisation that could help Alliance members keep their climate commitments? Perhaps your organisation is developing a new product or approach, has conducted research, or has a particularly strong opinion to share? You can help make the Alliance's debates, seminars, and lectures effective forums for stimulating action. 

Provide Facilities

The Camden Climate Change Alliance is free to join and largely funded by Camden Council and the London Development Agency. Could your organisation help to stretch the limited resources further by providing free access to meeting space, training rooms, conference facilities, and so on? 

Take Part 

Support the Alliance by coming along to events and workshops, participate in Carbon Confident, publicise your Climate Commitment, read the case studies on the website, feedback your thoughts and ideas, apply for an EECO award, encourage others to join, and much much more! Its time to get active.

Provide solutions

Perhaps carbon reduction is your business, maybe you supply energy efficient technologies or energy efficiency consultancy. You might have specific services, skills, or knowledge that Alliance members could benefit from. The Alliance will be holding 'Meet the Supplier' events and offering a number of opportunities for suppliers to offer their services directly to those organisations who need their help such as at seminars or workshops.
